1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using MenuScan, you agree to:
- Comply with these Terms and all applicable laws
- Provide accurate and complete information
- Maintain the security of your account
- Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
- Be at least 18 years old or have parental consent
Services
2. Description of Services
MenuScan provides:
- Digital Menu Creation: Tools to create and manage restaurant menus
- QR Code Generation: Generate QR codes for menu access
- Menu Management: Update prices, items, and descriptions in real-time
- Analytics: Track menu views and customer engagement
- Customer Support: Email and phone support
Service Availability: We strive for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Maintenance windows will be announced in advance.
User Accounts
3. User Accounts and Responsibilities
Account Creation:
- Provide accurate business and contact information
- Choose a secure password
- Verify your email address
- One account per business/restaurant
Account Security:
- You are responsible for maintaining account confidentiality
- Notify us immediately of unauthorized access
- Do not share your login credentials
- We are not liable for losses due to unauthorized use
Payment
4. Payment Terms and Billing
Subscription Plans:
- Free Trial: 7 days, no credit card required
- Monthly Plan: ₹299/month, billed monthly
- Annual Plan: ₹2,999/year, billed annually
Billing Terms:
- Automatic renewal unless cancelled
- Charges processed via PhonePe
- All prices in Indian Rupees (INR)
- Taxes applied as per Indian law
- No refunds for partial months

- Credit/Debit Cards
- UPI
- Net Banking
- Digital Wallets
Prohibited Use
5. Prohibited Uses
You may NOT:
- Violate any laws or regulations
- Infringe on intellectual property rights
- Upload malicious code or viruses
- Attempt to hack or breach security
- Resell or redistribute our services
- Use for illegal or fraudulent purposes
- Spam or send unsolicited communications
- Impersonate others or provide false information
Termination
6. Termination and Cancellation
You may terminate:
- Cancel anytime from account settings
- Service continues until end of billing period
- Download your data before cancellation
- No refunds for unused time
We may terminate if you:
- Violate these Terms
- Engage in fraudulent activity
- Fail to pay subscription fees
- Abuse or misuse the service
Account Termination: Upon termination, your data will be retained for 30 days, then permanently deleted.
Liability
7. Limitation of Liability
Service Provided "AS IS":
- No warranties of any kind, express or implied
- Not liable for indirect or consequential damages
- Maximum liability limited to fees paid in last 12 months
- Not responsible for third-party services (PhonePe, etc.)
Indemnification:
- You agree to indemnify MenuScan from claims arising from your use
- You are responsible for your menu content
- You must comply with food safety and labeling laws
